我喜歡補習的最大原因？😁

My greatest joy in tutoring comes from pushing through points or areas of struggles with students. This is when both student and tutor are challenged and the largest steps in progress are taken. In addition to the sense of achievement, my knowledge and understanding in the area improves with the student. Finally, the results and benefits of the accomplishment reflect the strength of the method of tutoring and ensure the student adopts positive learning habits.

我作為補習老師的優勢💪

I have two main strengths that make me an effective tutor. As a learner I made many mistakes and I was stuck in many areas. Learning from these mistakes and finding solutions through my own methods has strengthened my understanding and resultantly improved my capacity to help students who are stuck or have bad habits. I am well equipped to understand students struggles and guide them due to my personal experiences in learning. Secondly, my communication skills and my ability to connect with students make me a strong tutor. On the flipside of articulating solutions, techniques, and concepts, I am quick to understand and adapt when receiving input from struggling students.

The most important things a tutor can do for a student are threefold. Firstly, to impart critical ways of thinking that develop better minds for learning. Secondly, it is important that a tutor offers alternative perspectives on topics, concepts and problems. Lastly, a tutor must be mindful of individual students' goals, strengths and weaknesses and adapt teaching methods to complement them.

關於我自己

I am an enthusiastic, patient and goal-oriented tutor. I think it is important to view learning as a skill as well as an experience and I aim to reflect that in my work. I have a passion for engineering and so problem solving skills, mathematical and scientific thinking hold great emphasis in my approaches to learning. However, my skills and learning experiences span from a diverse group of subjects that include the arts and humanities. I aim to bring a wide variety of perspectives ways of thinking to my work as well.

I have tutored students from a range of ages and subjects. I received a tutoring scholarship for tutoring Math to students from all years in my high school. Each session involved tutoring a class of about twenty students with a few of my classmates. I have also been tutoring English, Math and Science to two primary school students. My biggest takeaway from both experiences is learning the importance of connecting with each student. With this knowledge, I was able to improve my tutoring methods and communication skills.
