我喜歡補習的最大原因？😁

Both of my parents are respectable teachers. As a child I always look up to them and deemed teaching as an important and noble job. It is always gratifying for me to see others progress with my help, even a little. As a student I’m not good at every subject as well, for example I’m comparatively weak in maths and I had to work really hard to get a level 4 in HKDSE. I understand the struggle so if strengths can be a tool for others to learn better I’ll be more than happy to do so.

When I was a student I didn’t like studying. Although my grades were decent I just found it boring and could not focus at all. Thankfully I found my own way to learn and control my attention instead of daydreaming. I also studied educational psychology last semester. By combining my personal experience and knowledge learned from university, I can provide a fun and fruitful class for my students.

關於我自己

I am Ho Tsuen, a year 2 student from the Faculty of Arts of Hong Kong University. I’m currently double majoring Art History and Psychology, the former is my interest, and the latter is for my career. I have experience in tutoring a small size class with around 3-4 primary school students. I like teaching and interacting with children with the hope of helping them study smartly and with passion by sharing my experience as a student. I’ve attained an overall level 5 in my DSE and also an overall score of 8.0 in IELTS.

I used to work in a tutoring centre in Taiwo for primary students. At the time I need to handle around 3-4 students at the same time. At first it is quite challenging since it is very difficult to maintain attention from all of them, but I feel encouraged every time they show progress.
